The beginnings...
Hi, I’m Kate — founder of Neha. Reformed corporate girl chasing something slower and more intentional. Ideally barefoot, London fog in hand, with a beach just around the corner.
The thinking started here: what if we built the kind of community we wanted to see?
One where we could gear up for more adventures on the water, support women doing cool things, and maybe stumble into something unexpected along the way.
Neha is a mix of everything I love — surfing, creativity, small-batch goods, and the kind of purpose you can actually feel.
A place that celebrates the good stuff: thoughtful makers, pieces built to last, and rhythms that don’t revolve around trends or scrolling.
So here we are. Piecing it together, bit by bit.
A shop for people who care about how things are made — and who’s making them. For community. For conversation. For goods with a little soul.
At its core, this shop is a love letter.

What's in a name
Neha Surf Society takes its name from Nehalennia — a Dutch sea goddess known for protecting sailors and offering safe passage. She’s often depicted with a basket of fruit (abundance, check) and a loyal pup by her side (we love her already).
Her name loosely translates to “she who is at the sea.”
We like to think of her as our patron saint of saltwater days — strong, grounded, and never far from the coast.
Neha carries that same spirit. A space for surfers, sailors, drifters, and daydreamers — anyone pulled to the water.
A gathering place for good gear, thoughtful goods, and the kind of community that makes you want to stick around.
