A Slower Start, by the Sea

Hi, I’m Kate — founder of Neha Surf Society and recovering corporate person turned surf shop dreamer.

This is the first entry in Notes from the Coast — a space where I’ll share the behind-the-scenes of building Neha, introduce you to brands I love, and drop the occasional salty musing from the South Coast of Massachusetts. Sometimes a shop update, sometimes a story, sometimes just a good reminder to get in the water.

For now, we’re starting slow. The shop is live — online only for now — and full of small-batch goods, women-owned brands, and pieces I’m genuinely excited to share. It’s been a dream to bring this to life, even if the path hasn’t looked exactly how I imagined.

This brand is built on a belief that how we shop matters. That slowing down is a form of care. That great gear can also tell a story.
